Category 3 (8 hours Industry Related): After this course the student will be able to solve series, parallel and series parallel circuits that contain fixed values for resistance and wattage; calculate all the components of an electrical motor circuit per NEC Article 430; apply components of Ohm's Law and Kirchoff's Law in the field; apply voltage drop formulas to determine correct wire sizing in an electrical circuit; use transformer theory to size the transformer KVA, conductors, fuse size and grounding.
Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements may be cancelled.
Note: Once on-line enrollments are completed, the CITC office will email a confirmation letter to the email address provided during checkout. The letter will provide all the pertinent course information, including class location and driving directions.
