Course Description

Category 3 (8 hours Industry Related): After this course the student will be able to solve series, parallel and series parallel circuits that contain fixed values for resistance and wattage; calculate all the components of an electrical motor circuit per NEC Article 430; apply components of Ohm's Law and Kirchoff's Law in the field; apply voltage drop formulas to determine correct wire sizing in an electrical circuit; use transformer theory to size the transformer KVA, conductors, fuse size and grounding.
