Course Description

AM - Category 2 (4 hours RCW/WAC Update): Class covers the most current adopted Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 19.28 and its related Washington Administrative Codes (WAC) as related to the electrical trade.

PM - Category 3 (4 hours industry-related): This course covers NEC 2008 and NFPA 70E safety guidelines for working around live electrical circuits and hazards. It includes discussion on application of NEC guidelines, Grounding and Bonding, Lockout/Tagout Procedures, Hazardous Work Areas, Arc Flash and Arc Blast protection, Personal Protection Equipment and a common sense understanding of the dangers of electrical faults.
