Categories 1, 2, and 3 (24 hours - 8 hours NEC Update, 4 hours RCW/WAC Update, and 12 hours industry-related): Class covers electrical theory and application, requirements of current National Electrical Code and Washington State Rules and Regulations, Ohm's Law and its uses, motor and motor controls, articles of the National Electrical Code and load calculations for residential, multifamily and commercial application and "sensi-mark" test formats. A mock exam is given. Course also prepares student to take Master Electrician licensing exam. RCW/WAC rules and regulations and other supplemental handouts included in cost of course. Prepares students to take 01, 02, 07, or 07B exam.
