Course Description
Category 3 (12 hours Industry-Related): This 32-hour course is for both the contractor and the journeyman. The course provides an overview of photovoltaic (PV) systems and related electrical concepts; provides methods for site analysis and system design; and reviews of PV-related NEC and RCW/WAC rules. Students will practice wiring a grid tiered system, including modules, racking, and inverter. Required textbook is included in cost of the course.
